Patient Assistance Fund

At Swallowing and Neurological Rehabilitation, we believe financial limitations should not be the reason a patient has to stop making meaningful progress in therapy.

Throughout the years, we have cared for patients facing incredibly difficult circumstances. Some are working toward eating and drinking safely again after relying on a feeding tube. Others are recovering from a stroke, living with a progressive neurological condition, or managing complex swallowing, voice, speech, or cognitive needs.

Unfortunately, insurance coverage and other funding sources do not always reflect the amount of therapy a patient may need. We have seen patients make meaningful progress toward important goals—sometimes even toward having a feeding tube removed—only to reach the end of their insurance benefits or lose access to coverage before their therapy is complete. We also encounter patients with significant medical needs who have limited or no funding available for the specialized services they need.

Helping Patients Continue Their Care

The SNR Patient Assistance Fund was created to help bridge that gap.

Contributions to the fund are used to provide financial assistance for eligible patients who are unable to afford medically necessary services at SNR. Assistance may help cover evaluations, treatment, or other SNR services when insurance benefits have been exhausted, coverage is unavailable, or a patient is experiencing financial hardship.

Our goal is simple: when possible, we want financial circumstances to be one less barrier standing between a patient and meaningful progress.

Make a Contribution

If you would like to help, you can contribute to the SNR Patient Assistance Fund below. Funds are reserved for patient assistance and help SNR provide care to individuals who otherwise may not have the financial resources to continue receiving services. Every contribution, regardless of size, helps us extend care to patients in need.

Please note: Swallowing and Neurological Rehabilitation is not a nonprofit or charitable organization. Contributions to the SNR Patient Assistance Fund are not charitable donations and are not tax-deductible. Contributors should consult their tax advisor regarding their individual circumstances.
